Our specialty is providing compassionate, companion service to help care for seniors.The kinds of services provided range from full time live in companions to part time helpers who will be glad to cook, shop, clean, help with grooming or to provide respite services to family members who need a break from the stress of providing daily care for a loved one. 

 

House Sitting

No more worries when you travel overseas whether it’s for a day, week or months. Feel safer knowing there issomeone keeping a watchful eye over your home. We can turn on and off your lights, bring in your mail and newspapers promptly, water your plants or handle any emergencies that may arise according to your personal instructions.

 

Errand Service

A versatile service offered is the convenience of a full service such as grocery shopping, bank runs, library, post office and general errand running. A service guaranteed to lighten your burden and brighten your day. Service is provided on a 4-hour minimum basis.

 

Personal Assistant

I can help you organize your home, write personal notes, cards or envelopes, stay in your home to wait on maintenance people, such as phone, cable, furniture/appliance delivery, home repairs, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, or as a personal shopper during busy holiday times. Whatever you can think of to lighten your load, give me a call. I can help.

For an elderly member of the family, meal preparation can be a hazardous and difficult task to complete. The risk of injury or simple inability to perform the action can lead your loved one to not receive the nutrition they need. The skilled aides of Laura Lynn’s Home Care are here to meet the nutritional needs of our clients by preparing delicious and nutritious meals that help feed the body and nurture the spirit. I can take care of the grocery shopping, cooking and clean-up. Special diet considerations are always a concern, and will be the focus of any meal preparation.

Pricing

• Waiting Services - $25.00 per hour, $40.00 for 2 hours, $75.00 for 4 hours

• Cooking Visits - Prices start from $100.00 per session plus ingredients

• Errand Services - $15 to $20 per hour. Service is provided on a 3-hour minimum basis.

• Senior Companion Care - $20.00 per hour. Service is provided on a 3-hour minimum basis.

• Personal Assistant - $25.00 per hour. Service is provided on a 4-hour minimum basis.

• House Sitting - Visits: $25 / Overnight Stays: $60 / Weekly $250 / Monthly: $400
   

Package deals (Prepaid) - To be used at the client's convenience

• Stress Reliever - 10 hours of service per month @ $200.00

• Happiness - 15 hours of service per month @ $250.00

• Well Being (Seniors Companion Care package) 4 hours of service per week, per month $275.00

 

 

The fine print...

• I provide complimentary consultations for first time clients. I work closely with each client to develop a customized price plan based on the services requested.

• I currently provide service to the St. George, St. John, St. Michael and the environs.

• Transportation charges will be applied if the client's home or business is located outside coverage area.

• I reserve the right to refuse services deemed unsafe, immoral, unethical or illegal to the client and my employees.

• I accept cash, personal or company cheques and money orders.
